'08' cat d lexus is220d with low mileage for a rea

Postby som80 » Tue Nov 03, 2009 2:11 am

it had ',minor', frontal damage and had radiator repalced, driver side panel and lights. wiring to the lights took them ages to figure and now works.

i',m not interested in selling it on after some years to make a profit or anything but want a dependable motor which will last me a good not many years.

experian check revealed that indeed it's a cat d and never stolen etc.

can I have your opinions please? and the kind of things I should check for?

We don',t get the 220d in the states, we have 250,350, ISF. but they share most of hte same parts. Once there's no frame damage and the work was done by a reputable shop, you'll be good. I',ve seen great work done by shops.

Do you get a 30 day warranty or so? The IS is a very dependable car.

The 220d has a dependable motor and the most torque in class. Good luck.
