About 18 years ago, I got in an accident while riding in a 1975 Monte Carlo. Does anybody know if that car had handles above the doors, called "oh " handles back then? I'm writing a fictional part depending on the real accident and am unsure if I'm correct to say someone holded them?

No they didn't. Just the one on the inside of the door.

no they did not have them,because I owned one, all they has was the two small hooks to hang clothes on if you traveled,and that is it,but that is all that car could have come with,it may have had one in the front on the passenger side,it was an choice on these cars, not many people wanted it although,good luck with it.

My High School sweetheart had one. To my recollection, no. There were no handles above the doors, or on the doors. They had an armrest and the door opening handle has been recessed in the arm rests.

I'd like to have one of those now.

I have a 74, and they did not add the handles till the 3rd generation Small Body Monte Carlos 1978 1987.
the other man Dodge Man is right they just have the clothes hooks on both sides just above the little side windows.
