Alarm, now, goes off randomly and can only be deactivated by unlocking the car doors. Ideally, I could like to disconnect it all together. can it be uninstalled?
I can not find the alarm under the hood and I believe the siren is really going through the car horn.

Sometimes theives keep setting off the alarm and run away, till you disable it. Then when you disable it, they'll break in the car, and the alarm will not sound. I propose you keep the alarm on, and get it checked to see if they're really false alarms.
