89 dodge spirit wont turn over only hear a clunk like the st

Daughter inlaws car wouldnt start for her so I have it now no oil on dip stick, could this motor be blown or what

no oil or anything under car but wont turn over help

Sounds like your engine is seized, take a socket to the crank snout screw and see if you may be able to turn it over by hand, take the spark plugs out 1st, if not she seized it and more than likley could tell you when and never added or change the oil on a regular base. But if you have the 2.5 four cyl or the 3.0L then it shouldnt be to costly to rebuild, but if you have the dual overhead cam RT your wallet is toast

with no oil being on it id check to see that the engine will turn over freely by hand by putting a ratchet with the right size socket on the bottom crank screw and see if it'll turn over,its a good possibility that it's blown,or the flex plate broke on it,also pull the inspection plate and see if you may be able to see the flex plate in it,good luck

Find a socket and ratchet to fit the screw on the front crankshaft pulley and see if you may be able to turn it over by hand.

My guess is you can',t which means the engine is seized.
