? with out unions we all be working at chinese pay rates,and if you thought health care was costly as it's,imagine what it could be with no unions, to be sure employers follow rules and safty practices.and no I don't think it'll last long,economy will dictate that for sure,no ones job is as secure as it was years ago. good luck

Since there are some industrial relations conflicts, to which 'strike' in specific are you referring??? Before we're able to comment exactly, we need more detail to your question.

It's a mistake, but it'll most likely happen. People are too greedy these days and only hurt themselves by striking. let us see, US auto business in crumbling and the workers can not see that they're partly to blame by doing this. The businesses can only pay for so much without going under. If I was GM, having them strike could only make me accept LESS than what I already offered.
