Why do some rsx's have round cut outs under the lights and some don't? I have the basic model and it does not have the cut outs. What models or years? do? Just inquisitive.

The '02 '04 have the round cut out on the headlamps and rear lights. For '05 '06 the new body style, the headlamps and rear lights were changed so that there aren't round cut outs on them from or rear.

they changed the rear lights at the end of 2004 with a pile of other things. I have an 06 model and it has the three round rear lights instead of the cut out reverse light. they changed a lot more than just the rear lights on the model I bought, which is the last year of production. the head lights are different, the guage cluster is different, the front fascia, rear bumper and side skirts are all different, also as a lower ride height, different springs, more cargo capacity, and a different shifter. mine is base also. anything before 2005 looks totally different from mine side by side.
