I really am looking into buying an 08 TSX but the only thing stopping me is that where I live we don't have an acura dealership and the closest one is hours away. Can my local honda dealer service/maintenance them or any other place? I know that if anything needs to be fixed under warranty I'm going to have to make the trip but is owning the car worth all the trouble? I have a black 05 cadillac cts that I'm sick of since it has given me so many problems so I'm wanting to trade it in for something more dependable and appealing and the TSX caught my eye. I test drove the beamer and the c230 but I believe those cars aren't worth the money being spent for just the name when the acura comes standard with everything. So you holders out there how pleased are you with your beautiful tsx? I want an 07 or 08 in nighthawk black without the navi its sooo nice..

I own a 06 acura tsx milano red/ebony 6speed with nav, bought new, 11.17.06. I love the car and recommend it. I live in NC and bought the car in PA. I take the car for some oil changes to the honda/acura dealer near me but I favor taking it to the dealer where I bought it. my good friend is the service manager there. If you want a positive answer I could propose you call their client service #1 382 2238 and ask them. my car has 25,000+ miles now.

You could take it to the Honda dealer. An Acura TSX is just a Honda Accord with different looks and a stronger engine. it may also be taken to some other places for services. You could get an Oil change anywhere after one year that the cra was out because it takes the mechanic shops one year to get the oil filters for the cars. Tire rotations, inspections, tire alignment, air filters, oil changes, radiator services and many other things may be done anywhere. you'll most likely only have to go to the dealership for an oil change in the 1st year.

The TSX is a great choice in a mid sized sedan.

As mentioned, it could seem right to contact the closet Honda dealer to where you live to see how comfy they could be servicing a TSX. You may find that due to great distances between dealers that they work on Acuras all the time.

Basically, Acuras are Hondas.upscale ones that's. Some Acuras e.g., the TL come off of Honda assembly lines e.g., the Accord . And many share lots of parts in common too. The TSX but really is the European variant of the Accord. Europeans are happy with high revving four cylinder motors, hence why the TSX has the powerplant it does. Of course the TSX also sports other improvements, superb chassis tuning being one it is recognized for.

Also, a great many routine maintenance & regular service issues may be handled by reputable shops other than the dealer. You may want to invest in a shop manual, which will assist your because in the long run.

Have fun.

THAT IS A GOOD QUESTION AND THE ONLY ONE THAT CAN ANSWER IT properly IS THE make.

SAME THING BUT DIFFERENT VEHICLES..2007 GMC PICKUP BREAKS DOWN AND THE CLOSET PLACE IS A CHEVY DEALERSHIP BUT THE CHEVY DEALERSHIP isn't ALLOWED TO WORK ON IT SO THE OWNER IS FORCED TO TAKE IT 50 MILES DOWN THE ROAD TO THE GMC DEALER FOR THE WARRANTY fix WORK.

CHEVY AND GMC SAME car DIFFERENT NAMES.
