Hi has anybody in the UK tried or suceeded in purchasing 17in alloy wheels for a volvo v70 that didn't cost an arm and a leg. I have been in contact with many so the expert and they all start of with wheel and tyre packages circa £375.00 but once I talk about Volvo the price shoots up to £600 £700 why nobody has an answer. Help

that is a really nice car you have got by the way. I ordered the brochure and am relying on a lottery win for an XC70..
If you want a correct set of Volvo alloys from a Volvo dealer then yes it'll cost that much. You may have to look at alloy dealers elsewhere that are not branded to Volvo I am scared.

hi.volvo cars have their own 17in alloy wheels that you may get at the dealership accessories shop.few volvo holders change their allloy wheels because the maker may void their warranty specially in accidents.so the expert jack up their prices to cover the assert if something happens.
you know volvo for safety and captured aftermarket

Volvo gear has typically been pretested to destruction, and so guaranteed by them.this is why you pay these inflated prices. Also,if you use non OE equipement,it will invallidate your ensure and more than probably, your insurance.Volvo aftersales service I have found generally makes the other manufacturers look sick.the volvo wheels are usually constructed to divert cooling air on to the brake shoes.
