Am I nuts or does the tiptronic boxster porsche not have much power?
I has been surprised when I just test drove a tiptronic boxster & I projected to sort of be blown away in the start up from stop you know, I had just driven a bmw 330 last week & it was so peppy
and it was kind of and not thrilling at all.
What do you think of the auto boxsters? is not it a little sacrilige? My sister will be driving this car when I am out of town & she insists she wants auto, but I have my reservations.
Are they harder or costly to maintain? Are they more or less dependable than the manual?
\,
thank you & hope you're having a nice wkend.

Boxster really wears out tires fast. Service is costly it's a Porsche is not it. Any nice car should be driven by one person. I never wanted my sister to drive my car when I wasn't looking. My Bet is the BMW because if she you must there's a back seat. Free factory maintence built right into the price of the car.

A Porsche with auto transmission is like a condom with training wheels. And the Boxster is totally underpowered in comparison to a 911, that is why it is so much cheaper.
But if your sister's going to be driving it, you may also go for it. you may be able to cut off the tiptronic and drive manual if you want.
