can I take an alpine 220w at four ohms and the speaker outputs run them into patchcords and hook it up into the input of another 220w at four ohms amplifier, then hook up an alpine 12'' 500w rms dual 2ohms voicecoil in series. what ohm load could I be running at and how many watts could I have and is this safe?

To be sure you don't burn anything out, you may want to most likely talk to a pro in person and let him look at your setup

No, not unless you want fried amps for dinner.

You can not run one amp into the inputs of another. This will just overdrive the second amp into distortion. If you look at the get control or in the manual, you may see that an amp may go from something like 100 millivolts to two volts. This is the satisfactory range of input to the amplifier. Going over two volts with the get all the way down in the case of this example could be overriding the input stage. 100 millivolts is just 1/10th of a volt. Those amps at their outputs can be putting out over 50 volts. You could never surpass the power of the last amp in the chain.

Don't do it.
