Anyone ever bought a second hand 2004 Volvo S60? What was you maintenance experience. Is it lasting, reliable?

I bought a used 2003 S60 with 60,000 miles on it. it is been rock hard and now has 95,000 miles on it. Common Volvo issues that happened to me: motor mount and gas filler door hinges. Other than that just maintenance.

You won't have any problems with the engine or transmission, but everything else will bankrupt you. All the electronic parts, the electrical switches, the air conditioning condenser, just about anything that is not made by Volvo is going to die and will cost a small fortune to replace.

The car will last forever as long as you have the money to keep everything on it and in it working.

The 1st post is totally incorrect, These cars are made by volvo, not ford. The second post, well you tore your gas door hinge off, haha. I own a 2006 s60 with 33,000 miles on it and haven't had to do any repairs other then oil changes. The s60 and v70, same car different body are rock hard from 2003 on. Go with the 2.4t model, best all around package, also look for one with sport seats, These seats will make long drives a pleasure.
