Audi A4 Electric Window Fault?

Postby Alex1 » Tue Sep 11, 2007 7:29 pm

My Car: Audi A4 2002 TDi

My Problem: Electric Windows front

Description:

drivers side control doesn't activate drivers side window
drivers side control does activate passenger side window
passenger side control doesn't activate passenger side window
auto window open/close on key fob ONLY opens/clsoes passender side window

These is how my car is all the time i.e. not intermittant

I can not believe its the switches in the doors due to key fob control working at least for the passenger side door.

In the name of decreasing the damage to the environment through extreme use of my aircon, HELP MEEEEE.

If its the relay whatcha ma callit then direct me to how to open and fix it.

Audi A4 Electric Window Fault?

Its an Audi, you gotta expect electric problem just like the rain and the sun shining. Well, you said that the passenger side window goes down, so the motor works maybe not on the drivers side. why do you think its not the switch/wiring in the door that's the problem? depending on the information you gave it sounds exactly like that's the problem, I'd get cracking on taking that door separately if I were you.
