Well for all the doubters out there..the 745i DOES exist. Just like my friend futher up said..turboed 735. As for an holders manual, two alternatives.an english variant one of the seven series manuals will tell you the information you need. BMW did not change holders manuals that much between models in a series. A german to english dictionary could do just also. Or check out roadflythe. Its a forum for all kinds of cars, and the oldest BMW forum out there. Those guys can tell you anything.

Jeff Stone the 745i was built from 1980 to 1986. it is a turbo charged 735i which was the top of the line seven series at the time.

There was a 733i in 1982 83 E21/1 followed by the 735i which ran from about 1982 1986 E23/2 . Then there was a735iL for a several years which was about six inches longer. Low volume cars, nearly generally with four speed auto transmission. Too heavy and thursty for the average owner/driver. I do not think there were any Owner's Manuals in English till they came out with a U.S. variant.
You can possibly find a Five Series manual in English and it could apply to most technology of the era.
