I have an '01 Boxster that just got its 60K service, everything was completely checked out cleared with flying colors. I noticed a little liquid recently a friend said most likely just an air conditioning discharge.

Last night after I got home, it sounded like rain system under my car, and in one fell swoop, the coolant is all gone, some minor moisture on the cap. Temp gauge held steady at 180 all night, no warning signs. This is my 1st issue with the car.
1. To get the car to a mechanic, am I supposed to refill with water or Porsche authorized antifreeze?
2. From what I portrayed, does it sound like a blown hose, pump gulp or something else?
3. How much should any of those fixes cost?
Thanks Fellow Porsche pals.

Do nothing to the car exept to have it towed to the dealership. generally use accepted fluids only. There isn't enough information to diagnose the problem with what has been provided.

I agree. Tow it to the Porsche dealer because its the only way to go, nevertheless correct coolant to refil the car is going to cost as much if not more than towing the car and its going to leak out . Again, not enough info for us to get you a exact because and cost, but I could bet and hope its a smaller fix. This issue is generally a small one or a big one. don't drive/start the car till issue is fixed, because you don't want to turn that loose hose into a engine rebuild/reseal. Good luck
