That's not essentially a just comparison. A better question could be Boxter or Cayman. But for this question, I could decide Carerra.

The best of both worlds.the cayman. A boxster with a hard top.
But if I had to decide I'd decide the Carrera. It has seats in the back, better performance and more features and you may be able to generally get it with a sunroof.

That is like asking for a comparison between a Nissan and a BMW. The Carrera is twice the price for some reasons. Better engine, better body style, faster, sexier, everything wins in the Carrera. The Boxter is the modern day 914.

The correct answer is Cayman, unless you want a soft top, then Boxter. Mid engine generally handles better than rear engine. Porsche has done a great job on keeping the new Carerra from oversteer, but it's still more of a possibility than in the Cayman.

Interesting question. The only thing these cars have in common is four wheels and a name. The Cayman is somewhat closer to the Boxter.

But to answer your question, there is no contest for me: CARRERA.

While the Boxter is a great car but the Carerra is the top of the heap, so I could take that one.
