Break acting strange? |
|
It does not happen all time I stop but on occasion when I apply the break, it goes smooth till it gets close to the floor then there is like the grunting not grinding sound and it nearly looks as although the break is giving out.
Actually when it gets in that mode, the car looks to move a bit more beyond when I first hit the break.
I do not know how else to explain it because I am car illiterate.
This is a 1996 Lexus ES300.

I recommend taking your car to a mechanic ASAP. It may be a problem with your Master Cylinder. A mechanic will be able to assist you. do not wait too long to get it checked out because it may because an accident or get costly to fix.

You have a bad ABS antilock brake system sensor on one of your wheels. By the way it is BRAKE not break.

Don't mess around. Take the car to get serviced.
