Camshaft and Valves??
If Im looking at my cams how do I know if the valves are opened or closed?

you may want to see the lobes on the cam not touching the rocker arm at all on both the intake and exhaust. look in a manual as to how to change the valve lash. it'll tell you how to find tdc on all cylinders

TAKE THE BATTERY CABLE LOOSE FROM THE PLUS SIDE . put THE KEY IN THE SWITCH AND BUMP THE STARTER.WATCH THE MARKING,S ON THE FLY WHEEL WHICH IS IN THE FRONT OF THE MOTOR. WHEN IT REACHES TOP DEAD CENTER REMOVE ONE OF THE PLUG,S STICK A PENCIL IN THE HOLE TO MAKE SHORE THE PISTON IS ON TOP.THE NUMBER ONE PISTON AND THE VALVE SHOULD BE OPEN IF NOT YOU GOT A PROBLEM.
