Can a BMW M5 with four of your friends really beat a Corvette?

Well which M5 are you looking at? Is it an E34, E39 or an E60 M5? The Corvette, is it a C5 or a C6 and is it a Z06? These both must be answered before I may make any predictability here. presuming you have an E36 M5 vs an C5 Corvette, the M5 could most probably lose. Given into consideration that the M5 does a zero 60 time in roughyl 4.7 nine seconds based on the drivers skill and capability, now with the weight of lets say 180lbs per person x five will give you another 900lbs of drag. That alone is a important loss in acceleration time. The C5 Corvette could most probably take the M5.

Depends on the year for both, the driver, the tires, the clutch, the changing, how much people wiegh.

Depent if the man can shift and drive. If both the same, NO WAY, Bmw is heavy and with four more guys in the car? Soemtime with luck you may be able to like corvette has engine glitches lots. Corvette have good high end too making m5 pass 1st then catch up and burn. But both could be fast to enter a gas station and pump expansive gas. haha.

I mean you could be a dummy for racing either, particularly since how much they cost to fix if you were damage them. what you may want to be thinking is if a cop catches you racing, how long will I lose my driving privileges??

No. If it was a stock C6, and you had four of your friends in it, presuming you are not seven, the Corvette could beat you. If it was the Z06, with 505 hp and 500 ft. lbs. of tourqe, it could destroy you. without three Passengers, the Z06 could kill you, and the C6 could give you a run for your money. There were other M5's made in other years, but I am pretty sure you are talking about this one.

Weight eats hp. Four adults will slow you down. Also the Corvette is a better drag racer.

However, the M5 won't have all its pieces falling off in 50,000 miles, so that is some consolation.

As much as I love my BMW. trust me it wont, we tried racing a vette in Germany with just two people in each car and the vette won.not by much..but it still won.. and YES I do race pro and street every weekend out there in Deutchland..
