it's a '94 Bonneville SSEI, the supercharger is shot and I wondered if there's a way to bypass it, and is it worth the time and money it has 220k+ miles

It'll really run like crap. $500 is cheaper than purchasing a new car but what kind of condition is the rest of the car in? Today's engines are able of 300k plus miles if you service them on a regular base.

You will not get much on trade if you trade it in. Less than $900 if they will take it on trade.

If the rest of the car is in decent form I'd fix the supercharger, then sell it out right. The blue book is $2400 for good condition.. I put a link below for a supercharger for it. $495
Good Luck

i agree with Simon, the engine is intended to run with the amount to run with more than just the air that the engine can draw in. also id just about bet that some of the sensors are having a hard time dealing with working in a vacuum situation rather than a pressurized environment. the computer is having a hard time trying to find out how much fuel to deliver and how to set base timing. there's no way to bypass the system, just save up the cash and have the repairs done professionally.

OK look you can't bypass it without removing it and if you remove you must change the intake from the air filter to the throttle body instead of air filter supercharger then throttle body. if you take it out you'll lose hp and torque and if you still want same power you may want to get high compression pistons that's the cheapest way of rising power
