Can anybody recommend decent brake pads and rotors for a 200 |

Can anybody recommend decent brake pads and rotors for a 2000 BMW 323Ci?
I have a 2000 BMW 323Ci coupe. I need new brake pads & rotors but do not want to go through the dealership, as they want to charge $1045.
I have a garage suggested to me that's experienced in the work, but thinked of ordering the parts myself.
I looked at some brands and parts on TireRack.com but was not sure which to get.
Can anybody recommend a brand or parts? or which to avoid
I do not need top of the line, I use my car for normal street & highway driving. Just something reliable that does the job as good as, or better, than OEM.

Hi, here is the suggestion when you order from tirerack. ATE premiun one rotor BMW use ATE and you may be able to pick either ATE pad or Hawk hps pad hawk pad brake well but may have little sound on low speed braking

My 1st choice could be Brembo hard rotor. Balo, and ATE is good. HAWK HPS is good so is PBR, and ATE. Maybe too much for normal street driving because these pads produce lot of brake dust. I favor Mintex for low dust pads.

Brembo is my choice on my 2000 BMW 323ci convertible.
You may also get dust shields $50 for both which go behind the front wheels, and stop the brake dust from coming through your spokes and dirtying your wheels.
