Just wondering what kinda hatch is it? EF? EG? EK? EP?.EPs are f'n heavy I will tell you that for sure. EK or older model hatch with a Turboed LS motor with Type R tranny will give the 02 Eclipse a run for it is money. Highway run.that will still kick the GT's . Depends on the driver also. I smoked a 98 Eclipse with a turbo strap'd onto it with my stock 93 accord from a 30mph roll. I thought I was gonna get smashed on hard, but that driver shifted like a granny with a broken arm..nor did he know how to spool his turbo ahaha. My friend was in the passenger side of that eclipse.he was like, damn your accord is strong. I am like..hell no it aint, I just know how to shift at some RPM muahaha

I sure its a 1988 1995 EF/EG. Well either way 2200lbs vs 3000lbs+. I race my friends auto eclispe intake exhaust V6 on a CX CDM DX motor and trans and won. He ran 16.0 1/4 and I beat him but four car lengths, so a turbo LS with Type R trans no way, unless you pass him when he's in fifth because those trannys have short gears, if you race him for a dead stop tell him to spot or give you ten cars don't take less you may want to be a one 1.5 secs faster then you where before. sure his car is in low 13's if he can drive and has a good turbo

ok, if you have a turbo's ls motor.there are not many cars that will be able to defeat you anywhere from a roll.and as far as the ecplise goes.theres no way in hell that it could come close to touching the civicthe 02's had v6's in them but still the civic is lighter, the engine is nearly as powerful not to talk about is one tourquey SOB plus it has a turbo.a man I know at a local track has a 91 hatch with a ls exchange and he's running 14.5's.so if you add a turbo onto that and its done properly.youre talkin 13's.easy
