you must count the 1st rung
go up 35 rungs to one 64, one is the 1st number of the next destination, the 64 is the number of steps that you have to count starting at the bottom to get to the next rung. Again the 1st number is the next number in the place and the other number is the number of rungs you have to climb fom the bottom for the next number
