Can the newer style grill TJ/JK be transplanted to a YJ Jeep?

If you are trying to do this to get rid of the square headlights then it's lots easier to just put CJ headlights in they'll cover up the hole in the YJ. As for switching the grill out the JK is too large and plastic I doubt you could be able to make that work too well, and with a TJ you have to be able to weld but it could be easier to just switch the headlights with CJ lights I have seen it done before.

Anything may be made to fit if you may be able to do the fabrication.
