can't get started

I just recently bought a sport bike so the Mazda B-3000 has been taking a back seat, especially since we've been having excellent weather. Well the last time i started it up and ran it was just last weekend, so it sat for the week, and this past weekend. i got up for work and w/ a chance of rain today i didn't want to take the bike, so i went out to start my truck and it wouldn't start. it TRIES to start, but no luck. I'm not a best mechanic and don't know where to begin looking. its been sitting for a week w/o being started, any ideas, guys?
