Get a Honda Civic or Toyota Corolla.
The Cavilar and Malibu are complete garbage. Just check out the ill fitting hard plastic interior, floaty handling, ugly/budget design and horrid resale value.

Get a Dodge or VW. They have less issues for the money spent. Or better still, get a Honda, better resale value.

Not sure about the Malibu I have a 1994Chevy cavalier z24 have had it since 2001 the things that I have had to fix was fuel pump, clutch, brakes, and the key ignition the tumbler goes out. And the check engine light stays on most of them for some reason..loll. But if you go to ask.com and type in cavalier and the year it pulls up the good and the bad.

Out of thoes two choices I could have to say go for the Cavailer. They may be quite cheap in price, geat on gas, nothing extremly big goes wrong with them Like blowing a head gasket or anything, and are pretty great price to fix.

The Cavalier is the biggest part of s t car ever made.. The Malibu could be the better choice it is also a s tbox, just not as bad . Find a nice Toyota or Honda, do not waste your money on a part of junk car.

I'd purchase a Malibu or an Impala. My dad has had three Camrys and they all are garbage. The interior is so cheap. Toyota had more recalls than cars it sold in the US last year.

Actually I have experience in vehicle work.i could say go with the Malibu. Hondas are junk typically and when they break down they have a hard time to get up and running. Anything Chevy must be good. Hope I helped out. Have a great day.

Malibu's are junk?? we have over 15 that come into our dealership for regular oil changes, the one with the most has over 250,000 miles,I love my Honda it was great, it has 267,000 and needed only routine maitenence, some people hate domestic cars, some hate imports,it's a matter of taste.that said I could still avoid a cavalier.
