Change of the driving block on 524td (E34)? |
|
Hello,
I would like to know your opinions on the disassembling of an engine of 524 td (1990).
I must change the driving block but I do not know if I deposit limp it at the same time or if it is possible to remove the block while leaving limps it speed above.
I think of removing the grill and to leave the whole by front, it is the best solution?
Thank you for your opinions

In the technical reviews they say to deposit limps it… For my part I would deposit it but each one his technique. If you deposits the cap and the grill it will remain to you always the front face in the way to leave it by front there east can be possible to leave it by the top without demounting limps

Hello
Dexter it is impossible!!!
By the top you must imperatively dismounted limps it.
By bottom you must be able to have the unit but you will have dismounted not badly of parts moreover.
The best way is from the top (without limps)

Thank you for your answers,
The cap is dismounted, the difficulty for me, it is to dismount which the engine, I wonder whether I go galéré to réaccoupler limps/driving thereafter. Did somebody already make? Screws and bolts is not easy access.
Why removal is impossible by before Moitoutfou? It seems to to me that the grill is dismountable!
Thank you in advance
