I recently underwent some maintenance for the car.
I changed air filter, spark plugs and sparks wirings.

Could any mishandling while performing the maintenance be the because of the problems. Someone told me that spark plugs may not be adjusted. Other told me injectors are faulty.

Any other opinions ?

P0440 is a small leak in the fuel system. Not neccesarily fuel, but more probably the system isn't sealed. You can attempt the cap,but if you have high fuel intake I doubt its the cap.Check where cap seats for damage or rust.Check the fuel filler neck real good, they rust at the bottom and leak.Check the lines to the charcoal cannister which is at the back passenger side of car.Make sure they're all on secure andcheck the cannister itself for cracks or damage.

you may be able to check the fuel lines at the engine and vacumn lines. If you smell fuel in the car you may be able to check the fuel senders, but this takes a little work and mechanic capability. Under the rear cargo area, just behind rear seat is two access doors, remove the screws and lift the doors off.Look around and see if there are signs of mice they like to chew wires and hoses, look for fuel leakage around the top of the tank. they are the common things w/o to get into the electrical switches that go with that system. Good luck

6/17 you may knocked vacumn line off by air cleaner or passenger front strut area. one vacumn line in specific goes to the Cannister purge solenoid, that could because the P0440.I don't see how the plug gap or wires could because that code. They could because a P0301 P0304 misfire codes. How is the car running?

Sounds like a leak in the fuel line.
