I'd like to know if there's an easy way to just rip out the alarm system and I am NOT kidding .

I'm sick and tired of the damn thing going off all the time. If my remote battery is dead I can not shut it off for the life of me. That looks to be when it goes nuts too.

Last time I had to drive with it wailing along the road till I was able to purchase a battery and it sat in the parking lot with many a inquisitive spectator wondering what setted it off. I have a feeling the morning drop offs at school are going to be a repeat of that. that is going to be fun.

Any advice?

I have the same damn problem. I do not have the clicker button to unlock it before I get in and it does it everytime. I have to crank the truck up just to get stuff from inside if I do not wanna hear it going off.

Without knowing what year your car is is kinda hard because some of them have a shock sensor to change the sensitivity, meaning you may be able to change it so it'll go off with just a little bump to the car or a harder bump. And you do not identify if it's the factory alarm or an add on alarm system. If it is an add on alarm then yes, take it to a stereo shop someplace they seem to do alarms too and have them yank it out. Nothing but problems with those I should say most of them . The Blazers I know have had not many problems with the factory alarms.
