Cost of fix for a rear engine seal for a 99 Eclipse?

I may be to get an Eclipse inside the next not many days. Its a 199 eclipse and the only thing wrong is the rear engine seal.
What could the avg cost be on this? $300 $400???
I called around a bit and most places were already closed. I just have to know somewhat before I purchase it.

the seal itself will only cost $50. not, the labor will take some hours to do. My brother, a mitsubishi mech, helped me replace it on a 97 eclipse 2.0 auto. what took us so long was to get the nuts off the axel to pull them from the hubs, cuz the tranny will have to come out to get in there. 300 400 may be a lower priced estimate and if you may be able to do it for that go for it. they are nice cars and you'll enjoy every minute you use up driving it
