sorry kinda long K well I have a logitech computer surround sound, And I had the bright idea to take the sub woofer outta the sub box and bridge a 12` sub in unison with each other . well it all went good till I turned it up and it started to crackle NOT like a blown speaker So I said screw it and tore the tiny 6` out and just wired up the twelve ` sounds worse and more crackly . then still again unwired that and put the standard 6` in again and its sound realllllllllly crackly and shitty, what did I do wrong and how do I fix it ? ? ? ?

Sounds as if the amp was overdriven and some damage may occured. Running too small of an blockage ohms will fry an amp.

When you wired the two speakers in parallel, the blockage dropped by half if they were equal. This causes the amp to work twice as hard.

Here's an idea: attempt researching what really happens when you "bridge" speakers.

1st, you can not "bridge" a speaker. two channels on an amp may be linked. Speakers can either be wired in series or parallel series parallel too .

The thing is you do not know what you're doing and that can only lead to trouble. Next time you choose to change something, it could pay to have an understanding of what is going on 1st.

Sounds to me like you messed up your sub's amp by "bridging" your speakers.
