can not speak for all limo services, but here in the Detroit area they have a three hour minimum.

Most do, typically at least one hour. At least that's what you get charged for.

It could rely on your reason for renting the limo. If it's to go from point A to point B, I could think not. But if it has anything to do with waiting for people, then dropping them off, and based on where point A and the drop off, there may be a minimum of time forced. But you have to learn the rates before you really hire them, and they charge for waiting time from when they really get to point A and if you are not prepared at that moment.

Call some and ask for their rates, explain what it's that you need them for, and get a quote. A quote isn't a contract or attaching.
