With BMW you may be able to have nearly any choice, but it'll cost you. In this case the navigation system will set you back $2100. You may think about if it's better value to purchase a nice Garmin from Amazon.com for $400 or less. Then you may be able to use that $1700 that you saved to purchase some cooler alternatives.
But if money is no object, you may also order a car with one in it.

optional equipment, it'll cost you extra, if you have the dough to purchase that ride, a couple of thousand will not hurt much.

It's a factory installed choice that will upgrade you to the "i drive" interface. it's a totally different dashboard with the navigation screen up high and the silver I drive button on the center console. I could greatly recommend ordering the navigation choice. it's worth every penny, and is a priceless resale tool.
