i want to purchase a 350 engine and get it shipped but wondered how much it weighed so I could get a $ idea.

Gen. one 350 motor Stock, Cast Iron
Block bare 200 250 lbs
Crankshaft 50 75 lbs
Camshaft five eight lbs
Heads Cast Iron 85lbs each complete
Intake stock 30 35 lbs
Avg. total 520lbs. recently stripped one of my 350's this past weekend and scrapped it.

Note: Newer motors comprise of aluminum parts, which make the motor weigh a bit less.

this is just a rough estimate, but I could say around 700 lbs.

If you are talking about a 350 long block, they weigh about 685lbs.

a chevy small block :long block 550 600 lbs.
