This mileage has been recorded in the Miles and Smiles rally. The average mileage will be much lesser.

The verna doesn't give that much. But OVERDRIVE magazine has broken the record by to get 35 kpl in the logan. Autocar had got 32 kpl from the fiesta. It all really depends on your way of driving. Driving in 50 60 kms will give you great mileage from your car.

Verna gave 32.8kmpl when tested by overdrive. But the way they test is that they 1st fill the whole tank and drive it till he fuel lasts. The car is driven continuously in fifth gear at 60kmph, so automatically it gives a good mileage. On road it'll give 17kmpl, as said by overdrive.
The current record holder in this test is Mahindra Renault Logan with 35.72kmpl but the overdrive dudes did also talk about that it give 17kmpl in general.
