I bought an IMCO exhaust system and its more engine then deafening exhaust and I wanna be able to hear my exhaust going down the highway..Some people say glasspack..But will it be obnociously loud? Give as much input as possible I was a deep throaty sound on my VW 1.8T

It will change the sound, but I am not sure how much. Check vwvortex.com it is a great web site with forums, if you have not still, they have tons of information there. Somebody may have the same system that you got. And, man, what car you got? I got 1.8t also, in my Golf. Vee Dub.

Yes, caused by the fact that there will be more flow and less backpressure
