Does Lexus IS350 cost almost $50,000?? with lots of alternatives.?
would you recommend GS350 with less alternatives or IS350 with lots of alternatives. I think they could cost about the same in those situations

Depends on what your frame of reference classifies as being close, and also what is "a lot" of options? Cars like the IS are usually called semi luxury cars, where the GS class could not be denied luxury position. I could think the base/core of the product could be worth more than simple add ons. though the GS is about 10k more on base price alone, I could certainly go for it, if the budget made it feasible.

Base MSRP starts at $35,905 IS
Base MSRP starts at $44,150 GS

Depends on what you need.

an IS 350, completely loaded is about 40k..difference between that and an IS 250 is the horse power, about 100 more.the is handles lots better then the GS..if you want power and handling, get the IS.if you want to have more luxary, and cabin room, get a GS.I have a 05 GS 300, I love the way it drives, but it doesn't handle also as my 525i..

For a GS 350, you're looking at around 44k base I believe..if you want power and handling, I could wait for the IS F to come out.the dealership told me it could be about 50k, 500 hp, and could kill an m3 and an m5..

It does cost almost $50,000 with completely loaded alternatives. This is pretty much at the range of the starting price for the GS350. You may also wait for the IS F that will be available next February or March in the US at 417 hp for $67,000. References below:
