Electrical Fault Mazda three SP23 2004? |
|
I am hoping that somebody may help me with my "ghost problem". My car started showing some weird behaviour and my local mazda service centre can not seem to fix it. The problem is that when the car is in drive, the gear indictaor lights on the dash go on and off intermittantly. Also when the lights are off and the car is decelerating the car surges and lurches as although it can not decide the proper gear. It was to Mazda three times and they tell me that they hook the car up to the computer and because they aren't to get any fault codes there's nothing wrong. The fault occurs intermittantly and it's driving me crazy. I called Mazda Australia and spoke to a service tech there and was told that if the computer does not recognize the fault then they are not going to perform any more tests because that could be a waste of time. Has anybody else experienced a alike fault? Any ideas on what I can do??? help.

Google on the Internet for "Mazda3 Technical Service Bulletin" then look for bulletins that describe the signs that you're feeling in the car. Print this info out and keep it useful. Take the car to a reputable garage and have them look at it and give you some idea of what is faltering in the car. Have them give you their best educated guess depending on situation. Now you have the TSB and the qualified opinion of a reputable garage that can do the work. Now, have a man go to the Mazda Dealership armed with what you learned, or go to a reputable garage if Mazda can't be reliable. Then get him to make the case for the car to be fixed. Mazda typically gives out a survey on buyer service, be sure you fill it out. I have a high degree of certainty that you'll have a "like new Mazda."

my friend, greetings from Puerto Rico I have expereience those sympthoms but in a different cars
they aren't an easy task to find those problems, for what I think it may be a bad wire not the ecu itself, some factorys of wires for mazda when the production lines make the cables if they're short they join the cable and kept going and some times those cables aren't conected and with the vibration of the car make contact, then works or make you crazy
so how to fix it? if your car is under ensure they have to fix it not matter if the ecu give you a code or not so. if your car has ensure simple and easy.. SUE them . . if your car don't have any ensure then take it to a good mazda shop and take a deep breath and seat nicely because it'll take long time before they can find the problem
starting searching for each, one by one fuse on the car.. then run your car with the ecu scanner till it fails then maybe they can get the code or something
it take time but it may be posible to fix it
