The 205 cc Mongoose street LS1 heads should work well. exchange the camshaft while you are at it. If you call AFR, they can propose a cam that will work well with their heads. A head and cam change with what you have already done should put you close to Lightning territory. as well, when you do the head / cam exchange, you will be best suited to have your ecm custom programmed by a shop that is familiar with LS1 edit, etc. Hand held programmers do not cut it once you have done som emajor mods.

McLaren got it. The 205cc AFR Mongoose heads will fit that thing, and their flow numbers are remarkable. I am hoping to order a set for my 1999 Z28 afterward this year. as well, I agree with his suggestion for the new cam. While they're in there installing the heads, you may also install a new cam for better power numbers. it'll also save you another "Tuning Fee" if you do them both simultaneously.
