can someone tell me how to install crane 1.7 rr on my 302 with a e 303 cam installed and gt 40 irons heads I just have to now things like how tight they should be the cam is already installed.

or if tightend them to tight will valves hang open and I'll have a problem geting it started,they are ped.mount rr

I assume that you're talking about the amount of preload that you may want to put on the hydraulic lifters.
1 1/4 to one 1/2 turns of the adjusting nut after you snug them up to zero lash. with thread in rocker studs
But then you say they're pedestal mounted rockers???

Just tight down like a the stock rocker arm.18 24 ft/lbs.Once tight you may want to be able to turn the push rod.If they don,t you'll have to shim them
