I believe that Acura has some of the best money for money cars on the road now. I have the TSX and I love it, could it use more power yeah but for the price it's a great car. you're going to pay more for a lexus 250 that can not compete with the TSX handling. The TL I'm not a big fan of as I don't like the way it's layed out in the inside. I think the steering is looser than the TSX and all you're paying for is the engine upgrade to me. and a bit more room not much
The RL is a great car and for all of the people out there that say it isn't a competitor for its class have not really driven the car to learn what it does. I sell these for a living and I drive the competition tosee how they compare. Yeah some of these cars are faster but their crash tests aren't five star all the way around, the all wheel drive system has nothing on the RL's and by the time you start adding the things you really wan't to the othewrs they're lots higher than what you may be able to really purchase the RL for. Not the sticker price but what you may be able to purchase it for. Like I say money for money they're all great but I chose the TSX due to drive in it. Off the line it sucks in honesty but how frequently do you really race the car. Where it really perfoms is when you hit the 6000 rpm and this is really how this car was supposed to be driven. On the highway when I have to pass someone I never worried if I could make it or not all I do is drop it in a lower gear on the sportshift and see ya afterward. The car will move. I took my to 140 and it was like doing 70 The features inside are awesome too as you won't find another car with the same features for the same price in its class. Now if you do not like any of them then wait til next year and we will see a complete new lineup.

The three mentioned are all superb cars.each in their own way.
TSX American release of European Accord. This is Acura's best balanced & best handling sedan. The car represents a great dollar value for all that it gives.it generally competes with the Lexus IS250, but out drives it in every important way. Complaints: Needs more torque. Engine could gain from forced induction for those power hungy afficianados..
TL Acura's flagship mid sized sedan.built off the Accord assembly line, but a different chassis firmer, more sport tuned . Like the TSX, the TL represents a great dollar value. It competes with lots of sport sedans Lexus, Infinity, Audi, BMW, Volvo, Cadillac, etc. . The TL really out handles the IS350, although it isn't as fast it is still considerably quicker than the TSX . The base TL was tuned for more sedate ride whereas the Type S features more raw edge tweaks for the driving fan.
RL The RL is Acura's high tech, full sized sedan offering. This car like it is sisters is supberb in every respect.well, nearly every. The car is pricier than the TL, & by a big margine. it's a showcase for Acura tecnology although, and it features Honda's All Wheel Super Handling drivetrain. The car tends to be a bit heavy for its size, and the AWD feature decreases linear accelration times. Consequently, it is about as fast in acceleration as a '98 '02 V6 Accord.not bad, just not in the same class as Lexus 430 series or Infiniti's M class V8s.

I owned the '05 variant of the TL, which is generally the same car as they make now.
I've test driven the TSX, and found it to be a little slow, and boring looking.
The RL is looking a little dated and is ridiculously costly for what it's.
My issue now is that for 30K I can get the new 2008 Honda Accord, completely loaded, with navigation, and ten more horse power than the TL. All for three 4K less than a TL.
On that base I would not purchase any Acura sedan now.
The Acura I owned for a several years was average. It had that rust problem in the brakes that another question talked about recently. I had some strange cabin sound they could never fix. And Acura had to give me a new set of tires because the ones that came on the car were flawed, causing me to crash off the road one time.
So honestly, my Acura experience wasn't that great. On this base, I do not think I'll ever purchase another one.
