Glasspack muffler on bmw 328i?

Glasspack muffler on bmw 328i?

i have a 1999 bmw 328i and thinked about installing a glasspack muffler. I wondered how it could influence my gas intake, performance, and sound. also in the long run will they hurt my car any more than my stock muffler?
