GMC Jimmy, power window sluggish..? |
|
I have a '94 GMC Jimmy, the power window on the drivers door is sluggish and somtimes stops going up or down all together. it is as if the window system needs charging up when I leave the switch alone for a bit, it'll start working again .
Has anybody expierienced this, and if what is the solution?

There are plastic bushings on the linkage connecting the window motor to the glass. they're most likely worn out and attaching up. You have to take off the inner door panel and check them out.

IT SOUNDS LIKE THE MOTOR IS BAD OR IT HAS A FLAT SPOT ON IT.
