Got a 2008 Saturn Vue two days ago. will not start, dealership is closed. What could it be? Engine not turning
It's nearly like the battery is dead. I have never had a car die in two days. I'll contact the dealer tomorrow, but has anybody else ever heard of this?

Most probably the battery is dead.

Sometimes the cars can sit on a dealer's lot for some number of days and because the battery to be weak.

I've seen many dealerships take a machine out to jump start brand new cars because their battery died while sitting on the lot.

Check the distributor cap. that is the plastic thing about 4" in diameter that has four six wires coming out of it. It may be cracked or it may have moisture in it. Dry it if moist. Wrap in channel tape if cracked.

I have had my 2008 Vue for three months, 6500 mi., there's a recall for some sort of switch that decides when to charge the battery. I had the non start problem while on a trip with my wife ten days ago, limped it into the dealer Santa Maria, CA and they "fixed it" .. Yesterday it happened again at UCSB parking lot and I missed a cool water polo game caused by this. I had to get a charge from Saturn roadside service, we drove it directly to the same dealer. They provided me with a loaner same 2008 Vue, polite and that is what I'm driving now. It remains to be seen what is going on, I can be looking at another model but my wife is lobbying to keep the car .. I dunno now . waiting for Saturn to make me happy again as this is Saturn # four from dealer. Film at eleven
