Has anybody ever heard of an IMCO Performance Exhaust on a 2003 VW Jetta 1.8T? I thought IMCO was American car?

"IMCO" referrs to International Muffler Company, the maker of the exhaust.

I've never used them, so I can not say if they are good or bad. I have a Borla exhaust on my 2000 Jetta.
Maybe you are thinking of the "IROC" Camaros? IROC stands for International Race of Champions, Drivers from all types of auto racing go head to head in cars all prepped exactly the same so that driver skill determined the winner.
