Has anybody had trouble with a 00 volkswagon beetle? |
|
Mine is dying while idling, and now the machanic thinks it is dead. He said it was a sensor, then he said some computer went out that made the fan blow, then he said he put the sensor in and it was perfect. He drove it about a mile, then said the head gasket was bad. Something does not seem right. It only has 80,000 miles and ran really great up till now.

Sadly that's the case with VWs. they're famous for electrical troubles and magor mechanical failures more so than most cars, the man above isn't kidding I'm sure. that's also why VWs have poor resale value, its because of those problems. Too bad becase I like their look and design. GOOD LUCK.
