Has anybody used the "Tornado Air Booster", the better fuel economy gadget you put in your intake?Does it work

I got gas magnets that will give you 30% better fuel too

just kidding none of these devices ever work but when gas gets $ people get desperate to save a buck. its like those people going to see faith healers. same thing

No, because it doesn't work alone. It does seem to work, only because you must do a bunch of other things 1st, like check tire pressure, drive without stomping on the gas or hammering the brakes, change your air cleaner, change your sparkplugs. Just doing those not many things will increase the fuel economy just the same without the device.

Yes I use it in my pickup, mileage increased somewhat. it is worth spending the money, you'll get it back. Talk about high gas prices.

NO. it'll decrease horse power. you'll LOSE hp because it obstructs and decreases air flow with then tells your computer to decrease fuel input. In hypothesis, yes, it'll improve fuel economy, but your car will run like crap.

The best thing to enhance gas mileage is drive with half a brain. Cruise instead of gassing then braking, both which decreases average mpg. None of these devices work, are not worth the money, and I remove one about every two weeks. If installed on late model vehicles, they really set off the check engine light caused by increased air turbulence into the throttle body causing wrong readings at the mass air flow sensor.

Underwriters Labratories says it made no difference when using it so I could so it was junk.
