having no trans liquid with not influence it starting or not. I wont start for a couple of reasons. no gas to get to the engine, no spark check the coil or that coil distributor thing, plugs may be bad, your ignition fuse. they are just some of the reasons. when you don't have any trans. liquid you car will start but wont move.

Yes by all means put some trans liquid in it before you annoy.

attempt charging the battery and maybe a jumpstart at 1st to get you going.

Or there's generally this one I found for sale also:

It is not good not having any tranny liquid. If it's a manual tranny you could cease it up partially or completely which could largely influence the way it starts. It sounds like it may be a timing chain/belt issue that's influencing startup. You may have bad ignition parts like spark plugs, wires, caps, rotors, or coils. be sure battery is charged, full of fluids, and everything connected. Good luck.

put some transmission liquid in it,then have someone start the car,you stand leaning down at the back of the car where the gas tank is or you could open the gas door and take the cap off and put your ear up to it and as the other person turns the ignition on listen and see if you hear like a humming sound coming from the gas tank,if you do not, then you need a new fuel pump because it is not delivering gas to the injectors, hence it'll turn over but the car wont start.hope this helps you.
