Help with lexus sc400 rear light.? |
|
recently my left rear rear light was confusing me. when I turn on my headlights my rear rear light the stop light doesnt work when I step on the brake the right one works good but the left one goes off. this only happens when I turn on my headlights not when they're off. I already changed the bulbs but nothing changed. can anybody help?

there is most likely a short in your wiring. Take it to a Lexus or Toyota dealership to get it fixed.

if you live in new york, bring it to ray catena lexus. they're the best. that's where my aunt's three cars are from and they gave her the best deal on the RX 350

Depending on the year you may have to get the bulb from the dealership for each separate socket, its not likely the wires are switched but it wont hurt to look for disconnected or grounded wires at all light connection. Good Luck and GOD Bless

Open your trunk and check the wiring that runs by the trunk cover hinges. it is common for some of the wires to get pinched or cut at the hinges and because all types of wierd problems.
You will just have to fix the wiring and be sure and secure it so it will not get pinched by the hinge again.
