Strictly speaking you will not be asked highway code questions as part of your CBT. you'll need a working knowledge of the highway code, particularly when it comes to the road ride part which should involve you riding in different traffic situations for at least two hours.

During this time your instructor should be observing how you deal with different situations & if you're totally ignorant of the rules of the road this will be evident to your instructor.

The CBT is not a test, it is a training course, if there's something you do not know then your instructor is there to teach you, not test you.

I could propose you get your hands on the hypothesis test CD's either purchase them or borrow off a friend. They were pretty much perfect preparation for me when I did my hypothesis. do not ignore the hazard view part either although, I know a lot of people that failed that.

You'll be asked random questions to check you are aware of the Highway Code. So you may want to just get on with reading and learning it.

You'll have some questions about road signs, road markings, speed limitations, stopping distances etc.

I understand they now also do a reactions test, where you must click on a computer the hazards, and it measures how fast you see and react to them.
