I have a 2000 Hyundai Accent and I love it, it should be considered the "Timex of cars". It was a dependable car in spite of being "totalled" by the insurance company four years ago after an auto accident and rear ended twice minor damage in both cases . Only fix, next to fixing the insurance damage and regular oil changes/spark plugs etc. was a fuel relay sensor went out three months ago. Another added bonus, particularly with fuel prices, it that I only have to purchase a tank of gas or a week I live inside ten miles of where I work .

What does it say in buyer Reports or the book Lemon Aid?
Hyundai used to be a bad brand of computers and cars.

Still there are some people who do not know much about Hyundai cars. Infact, they repeat the same old " Hyundai is crap" s t but Hyundai is one of the best brands in the world now.. Not to talk about that they gained the 3rd spot in dependability ratings beside Porsche and Lexus and Hyundai Sonata has been named "the most dependable car 2004".. I do not have an Hyundai but my friends do.. they're dependable, spacious, hard, have a good gas milage and comfy.. But 2003+ Hyundais are said to be the best I do not know much about older variants but as indicated by those two girls, 2000 models are as dependable as new ones.. Just do not be scared to go for an Hyundai.

The Elantra is most likely the best value on the road now.
In the U.S., Hyundai just finished first in initial buyer satisfaction how pleased new holders are inside the 1st 90 days after buy .
You can get an Elantra, loaded A/C, CD, auto, for under $13,000.
The only negative is that they do not hold their value well because they discount the new one's so much.
If you keep a car for a long time, think about this car as a #1 choice.
If you're going to trade your car in in less than five years, look toward the Toyota Corolla, which holds its resale value better.
